Fishing Seasons for 2009

Bottomfish
- Rockfish - Open year around. 7 days per week. Bag limit: 10 (No Canary or Yelloweye retention).
- Ling Cod - Open Saturday March 15^th through Sunday October 18^th.
7 days per week. Bag limit: 2.

Halibut
- Directed fishery opens Sunday, May 3 and is open on the following days (or until QUOTA attainment)
Sundays - May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28 AND Tuesdays May 5 and 12.
- Incidental Halibut may be retained in the NEARSHORE area Thursday through Saturday during the Directed Fishery(in addition to offshore days) and Thursday through Sunday after the directed season.
- The NEARSHORE area is defined as that area east of longitude 124-30 and north of latitude 46-58

Salmon
- Opens Sunday, June 28, Sunday through Thursday of each week through Thursday, July 23.
- Open 7 days per week starting Friday, July 24 through Sunday, September 20
- Bag limit TWO(2) (One may be a Chinook) PLUS a bonus PINK Salmon (2009 is a Pink year. Effectively the bag limit is 3 when at least 1 is a pink)
